Default 5 & 19 Chizik has to go

Auburn must immediately fire Jay Jacobs, Gene Chizik, Malzahn, and Roof. We need to run off all the players and shut down the program.

There it's been said, so Galen and some of the other Doom & Gloomers have no need to post this week.

I'm sure that none of them will be able to give any of Auburn's coaches or players any credit for this win.

I say end of year on Malz but no way on Chizek. Chizek gets this year and next before that kind of talk is even reasonable.

Hrm, maybe I am not crazy after all.

You want to fire Malzhan for taking a below average QB and doubling our scoring production... You are a despicable moron. Have you ever watched football before? There have been a few questionable play calls, but wow man you're dumb. Are you one of those old-fashioned whipper snappers that want to go back to running the ball up the middle three times and then punting?

Meanwhile you have Chizik whose defense has killed us over the first 7 games. The last two games have been somewhat respectable even though we've been playing against bad offenses. The lack of logic here is baffling.

Reasonable... Wow... You should never mention "reasonable" ever again.

Calm down son....we're all in this together. We all have different opinions but we all want whats best for AU. Us AU folks are kinda like on an island all by ourselves.

Malz has shown himself to be too cute with his fancy plays and too unable to slug it out and earn yardage. Malz's offense tries to outthink instead of outplay the defense and this just won't work in this league. Chizek needs to dial him back and give him the rest of the year to show he can run a real offense that fights for the line of scrimmage and yards rather than consistently has to gimmick its way to quick scores and big plays. If Malz can do that then keep him, if all he can do is try to out scheme defenses, something that we clearly see is not working, then replace him in the off season.

As for the defense, they have show, even in these last three games before today, to be good most of the time given their talent and depth issues but simply unable to consistently handle getting setup to fail by an offense that has zero capacity for ball control even in obvious ball control situations. Changing this offense is the single best fox for this defense save getting some more talent and depth.

No one will be fired. That would be the dumbest thing that Auburn to do. I do see the sarcasm but I felt it needed to be said for any others that actually thought that.

We have a good coaching staff, the only weak spot is roof with the defense. Lets see what he can do next year with more players.
