You Are Not A True Auburn Fan

Some other posts got me to thinking........(oh boy!)

This is Homecoming Week and some folks have been accussed of not being a "TRUE" Auburn fan.

So, if you want, list/tell a story that validates your "TRUE" AU fan status.......something that you would not have done were it not for your love of all things AU.

here is mine:

IF you have never endured Maryland Turkey & unsweet tea at the President's Alumni Luncheon held before kickoff in the old Foy Union Auditorium, you are not a "TRUE" AU fan..........the food was bad and for a young boy who would rather have been tailgating and tossing the football around......having to endure the luncheon (along with wearing a coat and tie to the game) solidifies myself as a "TRUE" AU fan.......

ya'll have some fun with this. ...it is Homecoming and uga & uat await around the corner....time for a laugh before things get real serious next week.

ps: not to steal anyone's thunder....but each and every person who ever sat for a whole game in the hot sun on those old Orange & Blue fiberglass seats automatically qualifies as "A TRUE AU Fan Extraordinaire"

I have a few:

Your not a true Auburn fan if you own a houndstooth hat.
Your not a true Auburn fan if you have Saban undies.

If you have thin or thick skin, you can be a true Auburn fan [thick skin makes it easier].

I might, just might, have a pair of saban undies....................but his picture is on the back

I also have some saban TP......gonna be a big seller this year at Christmas time.

As much BS Auburn fans put up with from teh bammers, thick skin just happens.
