Smile A must read about Dyer and our fans

This is a good article about why he chose AU. He said that the crowd at the WVU game moved him. He said they didnt leave even though it was storming. He says "I want to go some where like that and give 100% for fans like that." So thank you fans to all of the fans at that game and fans that write him on facebook, that go to his high school games, etc. Everyone keep up the good work. Michael Dyer finds everything he's looking for at Auburn - ESPN Under the video is the whole story. Welcome Dyer and War Eagle!

Hearing Dyer talk, as well as reading his comments, makes me even more proud that he chose AU for his next four years. We are getting a tremendous player and person.

There is no doubt our coaches know exactly what they are doing as they take AU to the next level. Makes you wonder who some of those critical bloggers are really pulling for.

He will learn that quickly!! And at the same time he'll come to know that we are not "War Eagles", either

Did Dyer attend our camp the summer of '08?

Something he said (in the B'ham News led me to believe he did). Just curious.

What about Mosley ?? Do we need a TE? Also I herd they took a trip to TN together and Mosley was impressed. Also Dyer did not done any AU gear at Press conference.?
Will rest better after he signs early Feb.. HUGE scope for us!

The press conference was called primarily to honor Dyer and Mosely as selections to the UnderArmour game, and was sponsored by them. The jersey he wore was the one they awarded him at that ceremony. He simply used that as his opportunity to announce his commitment to Auburn (which turned out to be a nice little piece of PR for us!).

Not every high-profile kid has to do an attention-getting hat ceremony at his commitment announcement.

If you can read the new article about Dyer and family over on Bodda Getta, do - it illustrates why he chose Auburn. After reading it, I don't think we have to worry about his changing his mind.

I watched Michael on ESPNU Friday night and he is the real deal. He reminds me of a combination of Rudy and Bo. The guy scored 5 TDs and rushed for over 200 yards....hard running up the middle. He was a man among boys. I cannot wait to see him in an AU uniform playing in JHS. He will be a BIG difference maker. Let's just keep him verbally committed and get that signature in Feb.

Mosely was a BEAST on defense. The guy has great size, speed, and is very athletic. I would really like to have him too.

Michael Dyer coming to AU is tremendous. Congrats to our coaches.
