Default My Crazy Prediction!!!

OK, ok........ I know I will get blasted for this one and told I'm delusional! But, I have a really REALLY good feeling that we (Auburn) are going to ruin the bammers year! Call me crazy or whatever you like but, here's the logic behind the madness.......
My thinking is that Bama does not have the bye week before the Iron Bowl like we do which allows Malzahn to implement new wrinkles in a 2 week period. Also allows a much beaten and battered defense time to lick its wounds. Secondly, I believe that Alabama will be thinking ahead to Timmy T and the mighty Gators. Which just maybe, Maybe gives us a small edge. I mean who'd thought that App St. would beat Michigan, etc.? Thirdly, call it gut feeling or whatever but, don't you just know that our boys are licking their chops at a chance to be the only blemish in the regular season for Bama after the butt whooping they gave us last year? I mean come on adrenaline and revenge is what this game is all about!!
Well, those are my insane theories! Jump on the wagon if you will or, blast me to oblivion...... I know that if I am wrong the crow I shall eat will be well served but, If not then I guess I won't look to stupid!
WAR EAGLE MY FRIENDS!!!

Have you seen anything new fro CGM all year? I don't mean to be negative on him (though I am leaning that way of late) just descriptive, his offense seems to be the same each week and drive to drive without respect to down, distance, situation, or success/failure to that point.

As for Bama being fooled or not ready, I dislike Saban myself because he seems like a weaselly, swarmy, jerk but he is a heck of a good college coach and he is particularly good in nickel defense. I would suspect no defense will be harder to gimmick our way past than Bamas while Saban is at the helm.

But that being said - we better get past UGA before we think about Bama. UGA may have as porous a defense as our own but when they are on, like us, they can score so watch out for a track meet this weekend.

Hrm, maybe I am not crazy after all.

I agree with the get past GA game first! But, it's something that I have just been feeling since the last few weeks so I figured that I would go on and put it out there to see what kinda feed back I got.......

On the not seeing anything new from CGM. He hasn't really had a chance to implement anything new yet because we haven't had an off week...... I truly believe that you will see something new come out of the bye week. Whether it be out of the wildcat or certain play for a guy who hasn't received much attention this year..... Something!!! They would be crazy not to! And besides, what does Auburn have to lose? Bama, ALOT! Us, not a thing! And if we pull it off it would do wonders for recruiting with the players teetering on the fence between lil Nicky and the new crew on our sidelines!

Also, on the issue. If I recall correctly, Bama has had recent trouble moving the ball on the offense. Now I know that our D is worn out, thin, insert whatever excuse or adj. you want, etc. I think that's got to give them some confidence and like I previously mentioned they will get some rest during the bye also. Anyhow, that's just my opinion and wishful thinking. But! For some reason I just believe! WDE

It should take an off week to change things up, recognize the lack of success to the outside east/west stuff verse the north/south Tate stuff and other such things. Heck, from drive to drive or even at halftime an average OC should be able to reformulate and shuffle things up.

Success against a defense like Bama, and much of the SEC defenses for that matter, takes work - not gimmicks. You need a series of plays to get scores consistently not a great play here and there. The sooner CGM learns this and applies his obvious talents to building drives and setting up big plays with smaller successes this offense will find some consistent success.

Good luck - My son's first away game was UGA when they broke out the black jerseys. They also had them sitting in the Upper Upper deck for the game.

Just hope for better results this time!

I think we can beat UGA and UAT this year, just don't don't know about the ref's..

WDE
