Hrm, maybe I am not crazy after all.

A nice opening drive, good mix of plays and aggressive without too much swingin' for the fence. Great start.

Excellent start defensively, and on offense.

I know you don't like Malzahn, but he has done a lot to improve this Auburn offense. Auburn is basically a top 10 offense nationally.

Well, they certainly do well against average to poor defenses, the trick is how they do verse the good ones because Auburn can count on facing 3 or 4 of those each year. And I don't dislike CGM, I just think his play calling is too spastic and impatient sometimes leading to more '3rd and long' and '3 and outs' than is healthy. But that said, so far this game (even against a bad defense) the play calling seems steady and they look good.

Ugh, more squandered 1st and 2nd downs, we are in 3rd and long a ton. This is why I am suspicious of CGM - for all the good that comes from his aggressiveness it seems to bite us in the ass just as much or more and go flat as fast as it goes hot.

OK, settle down now on offense. Use 1st and 2nd down wisely and avoid the 3rd and longs, got to get Tate going.
