Smile We will get them next year

I know it sucks to lose but we will get them next year hopefully. I never like to loose but this is a rebuilding year and I think we have done pretty good with a first year staff. Not many teams win this many games with a new staff so that is something to be proud of IMO.

I just hate it for our seniors that have been saying that for the past four years, but agree that better times are ahead. WDE

I agree with both posts. Auburn could have easily won that game last night. UGA should be concerned that a mature program that has been very stable is in this condition. With the turnover Auburn has had and playing so many first year guys...UGA should really have been in a much better position.

That game was basically even but UGA made one more play than Auburn.

UGA may be suffering from a little 'comfortable decline' like Auburn did the last year or so under xCTT. They better be careful.

When Auburn is fully stocked with players that are well versed in their offensive and defensive schemes - look out!

So far 2 of Auburns biggest rivals LSU and Georgia have built pretty long win streaks againts the tigers. Auburn could of, should of ended the bulldogs lastnight. The play of the OL, QB, and the defensive front 7 was horrible. Unless the tigers get some more bluechip recruits at OL and DT in 2010 the losing streaks againts LSU, Georgia, and Bama will continue.

60 yrs.!!! Yes, it's been almost 60 yrs. since we last lost four in a row to Georgia. I'm getting weary of 'waiting for next year'. I've been following Auburn football for many years, and I've never seen a defense quite as bad as this one. We've won games this year in spite of our defense. I can see a glimmer of hope for the offense, but this defense is terrible. Roof and Rocker need to go!

Out coached, out-physicalled, out-ran, out smarted, out laughed. Oh yeah, we got their number next year.

Maybe. Our guys just don't seem to be in good shape. Is it time to replace Yox?

No coaching changes until we can build up the talent and depth. If 3 years down the road there isn't significant improvement, then the fans can start grumbling. The last few years have sucked for our rival games, but better times are ahead.
