I don't believe there are any black helicopters involved in this one.
Based on Finebaum's comments (I know, I know) after having seen video of the incident, the attack sounds like it was pretty brutal and Smith is in deep doodoo.

It's one of the most absurd lawsuits I've ever seen. The charges say that Eric Smith was kicking Dicari Jenkin's body lying in a pool of blood.. right in front of cops.. and then Eric Smith turned around and casually walked away. I don't know how they are going to prove that BS in the court? Weren't the cops supposed to 'stop' the kid? Childish, stupid, media stunt by the bammers, just before Iron Bowl.

Wendy Crew is her name. If you look on their site you will see her chumming up to Bammers (ie - Joe Namath). You are right. It is a stunt. I just hope the judge isn't one of them as well. None of the details make any logical sense.

Do you know very much about how the REC operates? This is classic REC crap. They are out to screw us anyway they can (recruiting, bad pub, etc.), and they will use any media outlet in this state to do it. Fbomb is in bed with the REC. He and his rump ranger buddy that calls in every day around 4:15 had this all planned. This is all pure BS.

It may sound a like an Ian Fleming007 novel but then again...does anyone outside the REC really know their purpose and why it is a close organization? It has well been supported that they were behind the Eric Ramsey controversy that led to Pat Dye's resignation...thus it accomplished their objective...getting rid of the AU coach who had beat them for four years in a row and 6 out 9 that he had played them to that point (1989). Agreed. Not to mention the suit was filed a few weeks ago...and it just comes out this week leading up to the Iron Bowl?
Also, the only reason it would be in a US District Court (so I've been told) is if they are seeking greater than $75,000 in damages. Again, like you said, what do they hope to get out of Eric Smith, a college kid? Nothing.
They hope to smear Auburn and nothing more....hence her comment on the radio about the "gang mentality down at Auburn". What a joke. But, if REC backed, it served the purpose, there was a respected attorney on the radio calling Auburn gang-like.

REC has the cash,political power,judicial power and the will to pursure those
