It's in the business of supporting Finebaum.

I don't like that at all. He takes your money and calls us racist rubes.

There should be a penalty for that. He should pay it.

I think you're way off base comparing other gatherings of Auburn people to a competition between bitter rivals, but I don't make the rules. In my mind, it's more like Oldsmobile and Chevy.

I probably won't abide by this rule, so tell me now if it's a murdering offense.

Thanks for the welcome.

I've been "lurking" for a while and thought I would sign up, maybe I can join in on some of the conversations. First off... I love college football and enjoy reading other fan's take on their team. I know this is an Auburn forum and I assure you I will not talk smack or cause any problems. I just enjoy getting a view from the other side sometimes.
Thanks again, this is a good forum with a good layout, easy to read and follow topic.

The topic of my post was not AUC/Finebaum. The topic was posting links to other competitor sites and why it is not allowed. I tend to agree about Finebaum, I do not like him. However, it is a conflict of interest to advertise other sites that compete with AUC. Surely you can understand that. Finebaum's radio show is not currently in competition with this venture, and therefore is not a conflict. At that time which AUC Radio is functioning, this could change. But, again, you will never see a pepsi logo on a coke can, and you will not see AUC advertise for, say al. . . That is just biz 101.

As to another posted question:
Should AUC tell competitors not to post links to AUC? NO. That would be stupid. But, if the operators of those sites allow it, it's stupid on their parts. Many of you are members of multiple sites, and that's fine and dandy. Many of you probably own cars by two different manufacturers as well. But, I don't expect that to push Ford to start advertising Chevrolet any time soon.

Thank you all for having me join in on the boards. With my busy work schedule I have only now had time to join any forums.
i woulD like to know your reactions to Paul Finebaum's comments on ESPN, and if it made you all feel like feeding him to Tiger like I wanted to. I am now not sure that "The Gov" ever had any feelings for Auburn. But, I do noit feel that Mr. finebaum had any inside infom that the powers that be at Auburn are in any way having a Plantation agenda toward our student athletes. I For one am dissapointed in a journalist(at least one as bisaed as mr paul) and a former player having such input on our athletic program.
