I am excited about the basketball team. I am not one of the "dump Lebo" supporters, but was looking forward to a breakout year. This appeared to be his breakout year. It seems as if AU always does something to shoot itself in the foot or just bad luck and it keeps us from going to next level. Sorry for venting.
I did get to watch the Maryland and NC game. I watched AU and UT, but am heading back downstairs to watch the Duke and Maryland game. When I left to run Duke was up by 12 or so. Looks like they were draining the 3's.
I believe AU could play defensively with almost anyone, but offensively AU struggles, especially at the charity stripe. I can't wait to see Sullivan mature, he is going to be a scoring machine. Waller is going to be effective as he matures as well.
I would be surprised if AU gets a bid to the NCAA Tournament, but I also believe that they deserve to be there based on their last 12 games and their conference record.
