Hey Stonewall, the board has been inundated with Russian spam. I believe that a new sign up procedure is needed to keep some of these spammers off. Maybe a code box to verify a manual registration would be helpful. There is an entire page of spam posts.
It's a story about someone (me) who hasn't had a drink in more than 13 years having too much to drink. Obviously, I'd just as soon not go there on the message board.
Here is the reply I got when I asked about your situation:
"He is premium and he did register for a month. He'll need to cancel his current sub and go back in and purchase the annual if that's what he wants. You may want to mention in your blog that those people who have not received a confirmation likely missed it b/c it went into their spam folder."
