Smile Summer time and Ice Cream

Passing on a good one --

In honor of the 44th President of the United States,

Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: "Barocky Road."

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes.

The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.

The cost is $100.00 per scoop.

When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you.

You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream.

So, are you stimulated yet?

I received my stimulus package yesterday. I felt a little violated upon opening it. As a matter of fact, my ankles are tired and my nose is broken.

Very good. However, you didn't mention that even though this scoop sells for $100, the recommended and approved manufacturing budget for producing the scoop is $162 per scoop.

When confronted with the fact that $62 is lost on every scoop sold, the response was "yeah, but we make it up in volume".

I hope this means that "Barocky Road" doesnt melt in the heat, it could get messy. I heard that the only reason for this new flavor was because of the "generous" financial contribution by the "milk" & diary company to finance the advertisment of the new product.

Methinks ye olde scripted nutty exterior above tis wrought exactly fer heat, anna durst prevail ina midst of ye summer languor.

Upon musings, ponderings, betwixt scripts of German bratwurst, sausages and swords……harkens one back to distant echoes of ye olde huzzah wrought by General McAuliffe ina midst of battle.

Methinks ye olde soldier’s utterance tis a good rule of thumb hence forth……

“NUTS!”

I agree, the "nuts" ingredient will make a diffrerence. This is the same thing I tell my two yutes (thanks ugahater for the phrase) all the time. "Got to have "nuts" boys so you dont melt in the heat".

While you are certainly welcome, I must pass this credit to GHS52. Twas he that reminded us all of Marisa Tomei's finest moments. She has some seriously fine moments.
