Default Deep Dish, thin crust, or somewhere in the middle?

I just had a Chicago style, deep dish pizza for lunch. 10" across, probably weighed 10-12 lbs, easy (I didn't eat the whole thing...had 4 of the 6 slices).

Mellow Mushroom has been my favorite forever, growing up in Atlanta (pepperoni, hamburger, and feta cheese specifically). By the way, I'm always taking donations (ie. looking for business partners) for opening one here in San Antonio.

But I also absolutely love some authentic NY style, thin crust.

Eating this Chicago style with a giant smile on my face has me confused. I can't decide which is best of the three styles.

BBQ has been discussed pretty thoroughly this off-season...opinions on the pizza styles?

Well that's a given

One of my roommates and I used to go watch Braves games and eat 15-20 of those tiny slices at CiCi's in the summer. Proof that there is no bad pizza.

I worked at a Pizza Hut for about three months when I was in the 11th grade. Back then we made pizza out of sticks and dirt, but I digress.

I warn you with all earnestness to pass on the pan-style pizzas. Do not eat them. Do NOT eat them.

Also? If Pizza Hut still makes taco pizza? Don't get that either. Just let it go.

I have never really been a deep dish kind of girl...too much dough...and I find the ones from PH particularly unappetizing....

I like thin crust pizza, but my preference is to be somewhere in the middle.

I dont know what it is but.....well matbe I do......the greese in the Pizza Gut pizzas really put a hurtin' on ya. I dont like them. Besides Sabaros, I think Papa Johns is my favorite. I am biased to the banana peppers. Anyway, I think somewhere in the middle is the best.

Digiorno Barbeque Chicken pizza from your local Publix or QT. I don't know what type of crust that qualifies as, but it be good.

I have never understood the whole anchovie thing. Why in the world would someone put fish on their fish? Im not a mushroom guy either but I could stomach a mushroom a lot easier than fish on my pizza. I have been to CiCi's before as well, they have several different types of pizza as you all know. I especially like the dessert pizza like cinnamon apple pizza. I have heard they have maccaroni pizza, not sure what thats all about.
