I love my Yankees (and for the life of me I do not understand how an AU fan can full for any team w/ "red" in its name) but......

A-Rod needs to take a hike.......he is undeserving of the uniform.
When I watch the Yankees and A-limprod comes to bat, I change the channel.....until he strikes out again and goes and pouts in the dug-out.

All true, and I very much appreciate the history and the success.

And easy on A-Rod, he is the sole reason for the current surge back to the top of the AL East. Without him the Yanks would have been pretty ugly the last few years...especially given that their payroll exceeds Obama's national budget.

And I'd like to take this opportunity to take an internet piss on the 1996 and 1999 titles.

I will never take it easy on A-limprod.....as stated: He Is Undeserving of the Uniform.

He is responsible for nothing but discontent and failure...

He is not a champion, a winner or a Yankee.

The gods of Baseball are restless and hacked off........and I seriously doubt my beloved Yankees will win another Series until balance and righteousness are restored....ie....A-limprod goes to visit Elvis

I thought you were more intelligent than to resort to a Bammer's logic.

They are also the most hated team in baseball......F the Yankees and their dumb@ss fans in the Bronx.

And really? Youre counting Neikro as a NYY? 21 seasons as a Brave, 2 as a Yankee at the tail end of his career. Sorry, you lose.

You do know most of the titles came when their were less than 10 teams in the league right? And of those 10 only 2 or 3 were big enough markets to afford players worth a crap. Just saying....and seriously trying to mess with you.

I dont know how using turd logic figures in....the Yankees won it on the field...they didn't have to pay off some hermit drunk to retroactively declare them champions........in fact comparing what the turds think they have accomplished to what the Yankees have accomplished demonstrates no logic at all.

saying the Yankees are the "most hated" team in baseball is, to me, equal to saying "Ugly American", that nobody likes the United States.....pure jealousy ....(I was probably one of the few, if only person from the South that attended the last game in Fulton County Stadium and was overjoyed that the Braves lost)

as for Neikro, I agree w/ you...but that is what the list says.

mess away...it is June and I am bored

WAR EAGLE

ps: 10 WS titles pre-WWII, 16 titles after WWII

Another Braves gem....well, at least revived by the Braves. They found him hitting .375 down in a Mexican league and gave him a contract. Added about 6 more years to his career, giving him the chance to be the oldest at many things (to hit a grand slam, to hit a pinch-hit HR, to steal two bases in a game, etc).
