Tried to get the Palm Pre, but sold out, anyone get one?
I'm an idiot (please, no personal affirmations need be added). I've been waiting to replace my crap phone for months, waiting for the Palm Pre to come out, then i completely forget yesterday was the release date, and they are sold out all over town.
My wife had this LG Rumor and ended up not liking it. My two years was up on my old phone, so I got a Blackberry and then switched with her so she could have it.
So since then, I've had a Rumor (and it's WHITE, officially making it a teenage girl phone
).
So did anyone else get a Palm Pre yesterday and care to rub it in how great it is?

And yes, I have a white phone...but come on, doesn't my explanation warrant some sort of respect? I took it so my wife could have a Blackberry...AUS was no help....Tigerzbaby, can I get some support here?

Just get a BB again. The Storm is the stuff. Palm is ok. Steer clear of them Apple products. You'll become a yuppie then! LOL Turtle neck, trendy glasses and all......

I like her BB pretty good, but have you watched the product release videos on the Palm Pre from the CES show back in January? It has a lot of stuff other phones just don't have and can't do. The operation system is what's so great.
Click on "pre videos" over to the right and watch. One of the best things about it is that you can have so many applications open at the same time, kind of like your computer. You don't have to close one thing to get into something else. Anyway, very cool phone, which I shall be enjoying as soon as they are back in stock.

I have been hesitant to get in on this one due to my, ummmm, experiences w/ cell phone technology......
lets just say that I was banned from the Apple Store after I asked them if the I-phone came w/ a rotary dial...........
