Just curious....how do you explain that the dream match up of Boston and LA went only 6 games last year? (and ended with boring blowout).

And how do you explain the year before when the Spurs swept Lebron out of the Finals in 4 games? And why isn't Cleveland playing LA right now?

If it's all about money (ie. rigged), how do these things happen? (which, by the way, are far more typical than exciting game 7s between teams in the biggest TV markets).

I think it has more to do with a lack of motivation on the part of professional athletes. Most simply won't perform to their potential unless they have to, like a game seven. Cleveland isn't in the finals because they had no one on the interior that could contain Superman. I'm not a big conspiracy person, but I do believe a ref will call games to try to extend a series.
