Default When #2 is actually the winner....

...when it's a #2 at Whataburger with only cheese, grilled jalapenos, grilled onions, and ketchup. (#2 is the double meat whataburger).

Add to it a Coke, some fries, and an apple pie, and I'm relatively happy.

Highlight of an otherwise "blah" day at work.

I first thought this was a thread on bathroom protocol.........

after seeing what you had for lunch, maybe it should be...for that is where you are headed and right soon.

I wondered if that kind of #2 would work it's way into the thread....well done EA, first post.

As for the bathroom, you forget, I'm still pretty young and the stomach is still a steel pressure cooker and able to process nearly-nuclear meals.

I do fear, however, that my arteries are already down to forcing platelets and blood cells into single-file lines.

I dont care how young you are & Whataburgers certainly do not give a toot (actually they give several)

those things move directly to the front of the express lane......essentially non-stop "enjoyment"....evacuation is in your near future......

moo-ving along now.......

Apparently the first runner up (#2) in the Miss USA pageant is a winner. Political thoughts aside, she has definitely come out on top for losing.

#2 pencils seem to be the head of their class as well.

If you are following someone who walks through a huge spider's web, I think you win.

So, we have five number 2 winners so far.

So, that's eight things that are better than number one. Oh yeah, I almost forgot.

One is the loneliest number.

It takes two to tango.

Ronald Reagan's second term.

WWII.

Legs.

I'll leave any other anatomical ideas to y'all.

Jimmy Page's second band, Led Zeppelin, was a bit better than the Yardbirds.

Staying with the Led Zeppelin theme....Robert Plant was choice #2 for lead singer.

John Heisman's second coaching gig (?)....Auburn, obviously his best.

Finishing #2 in the SEC West in 1993 got Alabama to the SEC title game. (of course those cheaters had eventually to forfeit all their games anyway).

Ringo certainly outdid Pete Best. Don't bring me Moore, that was The Silver Beatles.

&

Shout at the Devil certainly outpaced Too Fast for Love.

&

I'm sure that we could go on with music all day.
But, let us remember to run the likker twice, as well.
