Default For All The Car Lovers

If you have not seen this car, it is amazing......there are also a couple of "test drive" videos of this car on YouTube.....I believe the top speed is 260 mph....

now, where did I hide my $2.1 million dollar "squirrel" fund?

ps: the new Ferrari is pretty cool also...the History Channel or Discovery did a special on the Ferrari plant about 3 weeks ago and showed one of these cars being built......a beautiful work of art.

Pretty amazing car. I remember waiting for it to come out. It was announced around 2000, but I don't think they actually started selling them until 2005 or later.

250+mph is pretty ridiculous, but apparently it's pretty stable and quite calm at that speed. Can't do it long though, the gas tank will run out in just over 10 minutes (or something close to that) at full throttle.

Thank the old VW head man Ferdinand Piech for such a car, he came up with it, although he was long gone by the time Bugatti made it. Yes VW owns Bugatti (as well as Lamborghini and Bentley, although Porsche actually holds a majority stake in VW, so that makes it even more interesting).

Nice try riverat, but....... a true blue-blooded "liberal" such as yourself would not own such a ostentatious display of capitalistic greed....

that thing is a complete terror on the environment (a rolling edifice to Big Oil).... and just think of all the good deeds you could do for the "poor" with that $2.1M + tax.

Now just go get in your Prius and head on down to the hospital and get in line....maybe by the time you are actually sick (say 5 to 7 years from now) the doctor might be able to see you before you croak.

have a good one riverat (please notice the correct spelling )

ps: God save us all if Teddy ever gets his hands on one of these things......at least the roof comes off and his passenger might be able to swim out of the top
