Default How sad is MSNBC?

And how big a douche is Obermann? I mean, the guy will NOT have anyone on who has a different opinion other than his.

How that ratings thingy working out for ya there Keith?

I mean, if it wasn't for Fox News would there be any voice other than the "progressives?"

Now Bones, you got everybody on Fox Broadcasting, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Carl Rove, as well as Lou on CNN, Finebaum, and Morning Joe on MSNBC. Dam, can't we regular folks have Keith, Chris and Rachal? We aren't asking for much, just a little truth in our day to offset all that Roger Ailes crap. BTW, Keith's last name is Olberman. Thanks.

By the way, Bones, the FCC is about to make all stations go back to the something similar to the Fairness Doctrine, you will be glad to hear. When MSNBC puts on some liberal stuff, they have to offset it with some conservative stuff. This will be true for all talk radio and tv, Fox included. Like they used to do, there will be community standards and if the community doesn't feel that the station is serving its needs, they will lose their license. That is the way it was until Reagan messed it up. It will allow us all to quit being so hateful to each other, moving more toward the middle than either extreme. This is a good thing, bones.

The "fairness doctrine" is as unamerican as socialism and communism. There's an easy solution here.

And I didn't realize it until somone used the same ratonal in one of my TERM LIMIT arguments. We have term limits - they're called ELECTIONS>

Same with this crap. If ratings were down and mamny many many more AMericans listened/watched MSNBC and Air America then the RIGHT media wouldn't prosper.

As far as "having" Racheal and Keith....WOW. Those of you who sit through that DERSERVE those two.

How's that little ratings thingy working out for the WRONG.....I mean, LEFT side?

Bones Ratings do not telling you what's right and what's wrong, what you should watch, and what you should avoid, what's educational and what's sensational.

Does that make American Idol better than Discovery Channel? Ratings are all 'sensationalism'.

I am not a fan of either.. Actually I find almost all of them extremely condescending and degrading, because they are questioning the intelligence of people. Most of these guys talk like they are herding sheep. They should report and let YOU decide, and quit with the mockery of American's intelligence.

Lying, frothing in the mouth, self aggrandizing egoist conceited talking-heads that get paid millions because millions of sheeple love listening to them.

You could take your statement of "And how big a douche is Obermann? I mean, the guy will NOT have anyone on who has a different opinion other than his. " and replace the name with bill orielly.. have you heard him? how about glenn beck? the guy lies and contradicts himself all the time.. and then there's rush the druggie limbaugh, and then there's ... really which talking head has a spine? They are all minting money off of sheeple.

Great post, I spent thirty years in tv and radio, thank goodness before Roger Ailes was hired by Fox. His hand has been in all the right wing stuff that has happened in our country. They are now trying to kill the greatest single thin that could happen to poor people in this country, actually turning them against supporting a government program that would save and lengthen their own lives. Socialism? How is providing health services to children and old people Socialism? Why don't folks want to cut the wast the drug companies impose on your country and use that money to help our people get health care. It's not Socialism, it's good sense. Why give big Pharma all our money. If you are on Medicare, are you a socialist? It is a government program that you paid into and are now drawing out as you need health care. Socialism? No. You learned that from the doper Rush Limbaugh or one of the Fox Crew. You do know that Rupert Merdoch, the owner of Fix News is a British citizen who uses free health care there, don't you? He is determined to make all American slavish followers of his brand of hate.

The Fairness Doctrine is the most American ruling that the FCC ever made. It guarantees that the airways that belong to all of us, will be used to serve our needs. If that is Socialism I just don't know what socialism is. Do you have any idea what we, the owners of all frequencies in the spectrum get as rent from the license holders? It is laughable. We need to clean up the FCC and get better return on our investment.

still have not read the bill, have you?

Fairness Doctrine.......sigh

sounds like "Homeland Security".....I could do w/o both...and do not get me started on the Federal Dept. of Education.

and I agree with you, you do not know the meaning of socialism....wouldn't recognize it if it arose from the smelling pile of failed ideas and slapped you silly (which it is likely to do)

and please, please, quit with the "poor", and Limbaugh and Fox News.......

some of us are quite capable of expanding and reading multiple sources of "information" (say like the actual bills) and making our own educated conclusions.

ya'll have a good one

EA.

Rupert Murdoch naturalized to US in 1985 because he needed to, not because he wanted to. He had to become a US Citizen in order to own and operate tv channels in the US. Basically the dude is Australian, but you can't 'naturalize' multi-billionaires. These boundaries and nationalism stuff is for poor people like you and me, so these billionaires can use us.

I don't think he has to worry about the NHS ( <==Click there. something the Brits love and rave about). He's one of the richest people on the planet. The US Healthcare is made for, and just appropriate for people like him.

Edit :
Do I think the current healthcare situation is acceptable : ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Do I think the current bill is acceptable : ABSOLUTELY NOT.
