Default Anyone out there?

As the dead period keeps going on and on, I am thinking about bball and feeling pretty good about the status of the AU program. We do have some talent coming back and there seems to be some real enthusiasm about the recruits who are on board.

Kentucky is finally going to be on their way back to winning and then will be on probation for about 10 years. I dont think we have to worry about the bammer coach because he is to busy cutting Saban's back yard and washing the family vehicle. And, does GA even have a coach yet?

I'm looking forward to the coming year...all five signees are in school, we return lots of experience in the backcourt and we have two transfers to help...the kid from Indiana I hear is going to be very good. Should be interesting to see what CJL can do with this team...he needs to get into the NCAA this year to see the new arena. I think if we have a season similar to last year, we will not be left out of the mix.

I agree Terp, we need to make the NCAA this year. That would be a great send off for the old coliseum and a momentum builder for the new one. If this team falls flat, then we will probably have a new coach for the new arena. But, I believe CJL has the program going in the right direction and many post season years are just about to start.

I'm even more excited about the AU women. Coach Nell is positiioned to become the premier coach in the SEC. Sure, Coach Summit is still out there, but the shift of power has already started.
