In the late fifties I ran across Rex Frederick who, at six foot five, was the team's tallest player. When I asked him to explain the shuffle, he said he could if we had all day.

I attended many games as a student in 1958 and 1959 seasons, and the shuffle was a thing of beauty because it looked so simple.

Was R. C. Nelson known as "Brownie" playing in 1958 and 1959?
He was our high school at Athens High School.
