Default more steam

I just read on Al.com that Auburn Womens BB team just picked up a commit from Courtney Strain. She is Alabama's all time leading scorer. The best part is that she is just a junior, so she will have a chance to blow the records away. She is currently averaging 35 points per game. This is a great pick up for our program. All five of our current starters this year are from the state of Alabama. It seems like coach Neil is putting a clamp on the recruits in this state. Great job coach!!

She's better at recruiting than tubs was at football.

Maybe Fortner needs to start doing the in-state recruiting for the men's team.

How do scholarships work w/womens basketball? How many can they have at once? How many recruits do they typically bring in?

Cool

She is building on her success...something Lebo has a hard time doing.

I think the rule for men is 13 scholarships total, no limit on how many you sign per year. I might be wrong on this though, I actually had a little trouble finding info on it. I assume the women's rule can't be too far off.

ALSO, it's been said before but it's definitely worth saying again. If JJ has half a brain (???) then he needs to lock down Fortner for a long time. Anyone know her contract status? I don't want her getting poached away by some other school willing to throw down big bucks.
