Default Meaningful March

Today is Tuesday, March 3......and for the first time in a while the AU mens' basketball team is in the hunt in March........

every single game the Tigers have left in this season is important........they are on the tight rope, will they fall off or make it across.........

Tonight the Tigers venture into an arena that has not seen many happy AU memories...........a win and the game w/ LSU in Auburn turns into a regional showdown despite LSU having already clinched the West.......

If, and it is a big IF, AU can win out and then follow up with a run in St. Pete...the Tigers may catch a little March Madness Lightning in a bottle.....

It is good to be excited about AU Bball in March, again.....

I have my lucky sweatshirt on, I am super excited about tonight's game. I like playing uat even when nothing is on the line but pride, but the circumstances tonight are just that much better.

And if we beat lsu.....well I just won't know what to do with myself.

I understand it.........I like Lebo......think he is a good game day coach....maybe one the best if not the best AU has ever had..........but after 5 years and very limited if any success, people begin to get impatient.....and I for one began to question his recruiting methods and management of the program on days other than game day.......

If he stumbles in the next 3 games........the doubts will arise again.......right now he has put himself in position, now he has to cash in, make the pass, finish the job.......

I look forward to seeing the results of the next three weeks...

I try. besides, if it involves cocktails, and big games invariably do, I always have the details commited to memory.
