Default Auburn destroys LSU, 69 to 53!

Shove that into your RPI!

Not only the hottest team in the SEC but one of the hottest in the nation. I think they are one win away from an NCAA lock.

MUST WIN SEC TOURNEY!! The media hates the SEC and our RPI is just not good enough. And to be honest it wasnt the committee that lost to N.Iowa, Mercer, Dayton, Xavier, Ole Miss and the like! Not to say that the guys havent done some impressive work but the Tourney does not look lightly on poor RPI's and very weak Non-Con schedules. And as stated they hate the SEC!

I do NOT think we have to win the tourney to get in the NCAA, but we must make it to the championship game. While we do have some negatives, the positives are mounting up -- 2nd place in the West, third best conference record, late season winning streak, blowing out the #12 team in the country. If we meet and beat FL in the tourney then that is another positive. Even though the SEC is down, it is still the SEC!

What you think doesn't matter in the least. Not one tiny bit.

As crappy as it is, the people who do this for a living have already said in no uncertain terms that AU has to win the tournament.

I think we can. It's a shame we have to go that route but that is the REALITY.

I'm all for optimism and being enthusiastic, but you also have to be able to freaking READ. Anybody who is anybody has said without equivocation that AU isn't in the mix. Period.

You're right...nor does what you think matter in the least or what I think...none of us make the decisions...but we do have the right to post our opinions.

They said the same thing in 2003 and we made it to the Sweet 16...Vitale...Auburn or you kidding me? They didn't deserve to get in.

I agree...we are on a role and playing as well as anyone...should be fun to watch.

You're right that they are all saying that, but their rationale for some "bubble watch" teams like Northwestern and VT versus excluding AU from consideration doesn't add up...Tigers just need to keep winning...I for one think they will.

Galen, you have a lot more respect for the talking heads opinions than I do. Even respecting their opinions, they offer opinions for entertainment purposes while there is still a lot of action going on... and I'm going to type this real slow so you will hear it-- things change as the season progresses, you can't decide who the best teams are until the games are played and different people see it different because they have different biases... so you can't predict with certainty how someone else will rate the teams. Instead of telling us how 'not smart' we are when we don't agree with you, you should just let everyone figure it out. WDE to ya... seems like everything Auburn's teams competed in yesterday they won and some of them were mighty big games.
