It's Saturday, folks! That means it's time to fire up the grills and smokers; put the snacks out on the coffee table; dress in your Auburn gear; and watch some Auburn Tigers foot. . . er, Basketball!
I love these Saturday games! It just feels so right. It's a comfortable feeling to enjoy a game day Saturday, as if it were mid-October. Those Saturdays, the ones that brought most of us together here, are so dearly missed during football's brutally long off season. So, let's all enjoy this AUsome bonus!
A toast: Here's to the Auburn Tigers and a dismantling of the Vols. Here's to keeping it going to help us make it through to A-day. Here's to GHS52 and eagleair89 for no particular reason. Here's to my sweetheart, your Queen, because, after all, she's the Queen. Here's to the Chris and Galen show, may it rival the Seinfeld and Newman grudge. Last and least, here's to the fact that uga's basketball program is in the same disarray, at season's end, that our football program was. There is, in fact, justice in the world.

I dont know if we "need" lsu to win. If AU takes care of business today I would rather play a 4 games in 4 days tired miss st team and win the tourney.
Yes...but it is hard to beat a team three times in one year and if we make the finals and lose to MSU we are out of the NCAA, but if we make the finals and lose to LSU we are in...IMO

This is a tournament. The joy of a tournament is that, unlike with football, winning alone is ALL you have to do. So, I don't care who Auburn would be better off losing to.
