SEC Postseason Trivia

Of the 24 men's and women's basketball teams in the SEC, 17 of them were invited to postseason tournaments - NCAA, NIT, or WNIT.

There was only one SEC school with neither team invited - Alabama.

Over a ten-day interval, March 17-26, sixteen SEC teams were eliminated from tournaments, leaving only the Vanderbilt women.

Woman's NIT... I didn't know they had that. That aside, the SEC hasn't done well as a basketball conference this year.

Apparently this year is the first time the SEC has not had multiple teams in the Sweet 16 according to ESPN...is that a fact? I guess we are use to UK being in the Sweet 16 so only need one more to make it multiple teams........SEC was just bad this year in basketball.
