Auburn linebacker commitment LaDarius Owens/Matt Nascone
Under Armour All-America linebacker LaDarius Owens might take some visits to other schools, but he says his commitment to Auburn is firm.

“After the season I may think about (taking some visits), but as of right now, I am not visiting anywhere but Auburn,” Owens told us.

Owens, a 4-star (80) from Bessemer/Jess Lanier, said he stayed home and relaxed last weekend. He watched Auburn's 33-20 victory over Ole Miss on television.

Jess Lanier beat Stanhope Elmore 17-14 in a heavy downpour. Owens said he enjoyed the game and even the conditions.

“It was fun getting to slide around in all that mud,” he said. “The rain really slowed down the other team and we took advantage of that.”

Owens said he might be in Auburn Saturday to watch the Tigers play Furman.
