Adrian Forbes, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, is Auburn’s third basketball commitment.
Forbes, who took an official visit to Auburn on the weekend of Sept. 4, chose the Tigers over firm offers from Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Texas Christian and Southern Methodist.
Forbes, a native of Spanish Town, Jamaica, averaged 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game as a freshman. He helped the Jamaican National Team with the Caribbean championship over the summer.
He joins shooting guard Jalen Steele of Knoxville, Tenn./Fulton and forward Heath Houston from Powder Springs, Ga./Hillgrove as Auburn commitments.
