AUBURN - The Auburn baseball team will face a 11 teams that played in NCAA regionals last year, six of them on the road, in John Pawlowski's second season as head coach.

The schedule was released Thursday.

The Tigers will face three teams that made the College Wolrd Series and will host a tournament Feb. 26-28 at Plainsman Park that will include Missouri, Florida Atlantic and Boston College. They open their season with a three-game series against Southeast Missouri State on Feb. 19-21.

"If you are a baseball fan and you want to watch some quality baseball, that tournament should be exciting," Pawlowski said.

Pawlowski said the schedule will offer plenty of tests.

"This spring is going to be very challenging for us," Pawlowski said.
