Auburn ended its two-game losing streak with a 26-23 home victory over Arkansas.

The Tigers overcame a 10-point deficit and a poor performance in the first half to rally and beat the Razorbacks. Quarterback Byrum Brown had three touchdowns and true freshman Shadarius Toodle shined in his first game action.

Here are some quotes of note from several Auburn players following the victory.

Linebacker Shadarius Toodle on getting the opportunity to go play:

“It was amazing. Blessed to be on the field. Blessed that the coaches believed in me to go out on the field and perform.”

Defensive back Blake Woodby on the younger guys shining on defense:

“I think it's a testament to my coaches. It's a testament to being able to keep the young guys engaged. Me personally, I don't feel like -- I love the game enough and play this game for my brothers. I don't feel like I have to be pushed. From a kid's perspective, any high school you came from, it's hard to go through those days without getting what you feel like you deserve. But that's just the name of the game. That's the way life goes sometimes. You have to be the same person every single day and be prepared for your moments.”

Quarterback Byrum Brown on finishing the game against Arkansas:

“Felt really good, you know, to bounce back from that first half -- shout out Defense for keeping us in it --and go finish as a team playing cohesive football, both sides and special teams as well. I felt really good to go finish. Got a lot of stuff to clean up, especially that first half, but felt really good.”

Wide receiver Chas Nimrod on the difference between the first half and second half offensively:

“Just going out and executing plays and just doing our job and just settling in and not trying to do too much. So just really just doing our jobs and taking it one play at a time and just staying poised.”

Offensive lineman Cole Best on this team finding success in close games this season:

“That speaks to this team and just the mentality and how we're unbreakable. We've been through a lot. We've been through a lot of highs. We've been through a lot of lows. But just the way that this team continues to show up and strain and finish is huge.”
