Auburn Men’s Basketball announces SEC schedule

Today the Southeastern Conference officially announced their conference schedules for the upcoming men’s basketball season.

The Auburn Tigers will open their conference slate on the road, on January 2nd, against Texas A&M. They will then have a two game homestand against Tennessee and Georgia. Auburn then alternates their next two games, starting with a road game against Texas. This will be followed by a home game against Ole Miss on January 16th.

Auburn has their next two conference games, against Vanderbilt and LSU, on the road. The Tigers end the month of January with a home game aginst Mississippi State and a road game against arch rival, Alabama.

The Tigers then have a week off before a two game home stand against Oklahoma and Florida. That is followed by a two game road trip against South Carolina and Arkanas.

The pattern repeats itself as we end the month of February. Missouri and LSU come to the Plains before Auburn travels to face Kentucky and Ole Miss.

The regular season finale will take place on March 6th. Auburn will host Alabama inside Neville Arena. The Tigers will then get ready for the SEC Tournament scheuled to take place, in Nashville, from March 10-14.

Auburn is hoping to build off last year’s NIT Championship and make a return to the newly expanded NCAA Tournament this year.
