AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn wide receiver Christian Neptune is one of the few Tigers wearing the non-contact orange jersey in practice.

He feels that will be removed and he’ll be 100-percent ‘very soon.’
“Can’t wait. Just to be able to make that contact and be full go,” Neptune told the media following Saturday morning’s practice. “I was talking to the trainers and I should be coming out of (the orange jersey) very soon.”
Neptune is still recovering from a shoulder injury that he underwent surgery for in the spring.
His positive attitude through this adversity has helped the rehab process.
“God did this and put this in my life for a reason,” Neptune said. “To not only grow physically but also mentally. It’s all how you look at it.”
Neptune when he returns to full health would be a jolt of experience and talent to a join filled with a mix of both.
He’s one of five USF wide receivers to transfer to Auburn this off-season,
“Just being able to be out there with my guys and seeing how our process is paying off day by day,” Neptune said. “The speed is different here. I’ve grown so much in the playbook and know every spot. I kind of standout because I’m one of the older guys because I’ve been in the system so I’m taking that role.”
Last fall at USF, Neptune (Cantonment, Fla./Tate) hauled in 38 balls for 335 yards and a touchdown.
