The Auburn Tigers and Head Coach Steven Pearl have set up a marquee exhibition matchup in Birmingham just more than one week after playing another exhibition game in the same city.

Auburn will take on archrival Alabama on Oct. 22 at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, a game that has the potential to provide big benefits in terms of NIL for both sides.
Should the game sell out, both the Tigers and Crimson Tide will earn upwards of six figures to go towards building their rosters in the future.
Alabama and its head coach Nate Oats walked away with victories in both times the rivals met in the regular season. The Crimson Tide won 96-92 in Neville Arena on Feb. 7 and 96-84 in Coleman Coliseum on March 7.
For the 2026-2027 campaign, Auburn will travel to Tuscaloosa on Jan. 30, 2027 and finish the regular season with the return game on the Plains on March 6, 2027.
As it currently stands, the Tigers will be playing another exhibition game on Oct. 14 in Birmingham as well, that one being against the Florida State Seminoles in Boutwell Auditorium for Ballin’ in Boutwell.
Auburn has not officially announced its non-conference schedule in full yet for the upcoming second season under Pearl. The Tigers will travel to Las Vegas for the second year in a row for the Players Era, where it will open up against the West Virginia Mountaineers on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The non-conference slate also includes games against Clemson in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Dec. 1, Middle Tennessee State in the Rocket City Classic on Dec. 15 and a neutral-site game in Nashville against the Wisconsin Badgers on Dec. 19.
Auburn will open up its SEC slate on the road in College Station, Texas against the Texas A&M Aggies on Jan. 2
The Tigers finished the 2025-2026 campaign with a 22-16 record overall while going 7-11 in SEC play. They completed the year by winning the NIT championship in Indianapolis, Indiana.
