Monday of game week has arrived for the Auburn Tigers and Head Coach Alex Golesh as they prepare to head to Atlanta to take on Dave Aranda’s Baylor Bears in the 2026 season opener.

With Golesh and his coordinators having had a press conference on Monday, a lot was revealed about where the team was this close to the big game, while the depth chart was also officially unveiled.
Auburn Undercover highlights another one of those players in this edition of the Impacting Auburn series, displaying members of the team who the staff believes will make a difference on the field in 2026.
As a disclaimer, the poll was tabulated by rankings sent in from four people on the Auburn Undercover staff—Tyler Raley, Ryan Bartow, Caleb Jones and Jay Douglas. The rankings each person sent in were averaged, with the lowest score going at the top of the list.
The list returns back to the wide receiver room as one of Golesh’s top receivers in Keshaun Singleton seeks to carry on the success he had at USF, trying to make a massive impact with his abilities on the offensive side.

Performance in 2025:
Singleton may have only been a sophomore in 2025 for Head Coach Alex Golesh at USF, but he sure signed his signature in Tampa before following his coach to the Plains.
The wide receiver played in 12 games last season with the Bulls, starting in seven of those. During that time, he became Byrum Brown’s favorite target, catching 50 passes for 877 yards and eight touchdowns, with his longest touchdown going for 66 yards.
He caught multiple passes in every game except for one, and caught four or more passes in eight appearances. Singleton’s most productive outing came in the regular season finale when USF defeated Rice. In that game, he reeled in six passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. His highest-reception performance, meanwhile, came in a loss to Memphis, when he caught seven passes for 88 yards.
As a result of his statistics, Singleton led the team in receptions, receiving yards and was tied for the most receiving touchdowns.
Following the season, he came with Golesh to Auburn, alongside fellow wide receivers Jeremiah Koger, Chas Nimrod, Christian Neptune and Kory Pettigrew.
Preseason camp intel:
Singleton has the potential to have a big year for Joel Gordon’s offense this season as one of the more veteran players in the receiver room alongside Chas Nimrod. That has shown throughout the preseason.
As recently as Monday’s press conference and the coordinators, Gordon said that Singleton had a good preseason camp and that he did things the staff had not seen him do to this point.
Singleton has been seen in most drills working on the outside of the formations, working in a lot of routes that take him to the boundary. Those drills have ultimately tested Singleton in some skills that give him a promising upside.
The junior has been able to make some leaping grabs in tight spots, providing some trust for Brown to be able to throw to him in those situations.
Singleton was also named by Golesh as someone who has been coming out of his shell in terms of making himself vocal and a leader. Golesh has preached that he wants this program to become player-led down the road, and when asked about an update on that front on Monday, he mentioned a number of players who were beginning to make strides in that area, which included Singleton.
The transfer is set to be a starter on Sept. 5 when the Tigers travel to Atlanta to take on the Bears in their season opener.
