Few have more of a decorated resume of talent evaluation than Gerry Brisco.

Not only is Brisco a WWE Hall of Famer for his work inside the ring.
He served as the WWE’s No. 1 most successful and influential talent scout in company history for his work over the last four decades.
Some of his top finds including generational talents including Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle, among a host of others.
Brisco, an avid football fan, resides in Tampa and has kept a close eye on USF’s program for years.
He was especially impressed with Alex Golesh’s recent run as head man for the Bulls.

Golesh inherited a program that won four total ball games from 2020-2022.
In the last three years, he turned around USF with back-to-back seven win campaigns and a 9-4 mark a year ago leading to the Auburn job.
“I like the new Auburn coach,” Brisco told Auburnundercover. “He is able to develop talent and identify great players.”
Golesh and his staff have 25 verbal commits, good enough for one of the nation’s most decorated 2027 recruiting classes.
Many of those future Tigers will be in attendance Saturday afternoon when the Tigers kick off their season against Baylor in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Beyond the recruiting prowess, Brisco also likes Golesh’s emphasis on the process and player development along with his adjustments in terms of personnel use.
“He seemed to be able to to make average college players into great players,” Brisco said. “He (also) has great in-game adaptability.”
High praise for Golesh and the new Auburn staff. Especially from someone who has an elite eye for talent.
