Auburn Head Coach Alex Golesh and his coordinators are set to give their weekly press conference to the media following the Baylor game on Saturday.

Alex Golesh:
Golesh thanks the fans and band for their suppport in Atlanta, saying it was a great environment to play football in.
Golesh said execution was poor when speaking on the turnovers.
Golesh said the pre-snap penalties were too many, but it was a point of emphasis moving forward.
It was said there was a huge learning moment in terms of urgency for many of the players after coming off the field against Baylor.
Da’Shawn Womack is day-to-day and will be back by the end of the week, but everyone else is fine that did not finish the game.
Southern Miss presents challenges and runs the offense with a tempo. Defensively they play a lot of players and bury a lot of looks.
On offensive line: Golesh was disappointed on the inside, but competed on the outside.
On Byrum and his ability to make plays: Golesh thought Keshaun Singleton and Jeremiah Koger both played “lights out” and made some big gains. However, Golesh thought as a whole that the connections certainly helped, but they eventually settled in.
Golesh said Byrum owned all the turnovers, but it was a combination of them forcing it and trying to create big plays.
Golesh was impressed with the play and preparation of Elijah Melendez, and it gave him confidence throughout the game.
Joel Gordon:
Gordon took responsibility for the first interception as they tried to take a shot down field, and that they were trying to do too much on the one in the red zone.
Gordon said the best drive Brown played all day was the one where he scored on the 11-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, which he said was a big moment for the quarterback.
The offensive line had some confusion with all of the twisting going on from the Baylor defensive front and said they could not find a consistent rhythm overall.
Gordon said Jeremiah Cobb is one of the guys who is unselfish, and the block on the touchdown drive in the fourth quarter said everything people need to know about the running back.
Gordon touted the effort of Jeremiah Koger and Keshaun Singleton when the lights came on. Chas Nimrod has also added to the success, but there is still room for growth.
Gordon said Arlis Boardingham and Jake Johnson were prepared, and they functioned well overall. However, they did not function well when both of them were on the field at the same time.
DJ Durkin:
Durkin thought the work on forcing the turnovers on the first two drives of the game for Baylor was a huge boost due to how much they worked on it over the course of their preparation.
Durkin said Elijah Melendez has benefitted from being vocal and a true leader, saying he did a really good job of stepping up.
