The next Omar? Auburn High has another young RB to watch

AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn stuck gold with local running back Omar Mabson.

The Auburn High product is already No. 2 on the depth chart for the Tigers as a sophomore.

That doesn’t surprise his high school coach.

“Omar is awesome,” Auburn coach Keith Etheredge told Auburn Undercover recently at his high school. “He graduated early from here. He did a great job last year. Got in the weight room. He can do it all. Small frame, stocky.
