Auburn hosts Vanderbilt in SEC play Saturday afternoon. The Tigers will have a talented group of recruits in Jordan-Hare to experience the great atmosphere.
Last weekend, 23 of the 25 commits were in town for the Florida game. This weekend the lone two that weren’t - four-star offensive tackle Layton Von Brandt (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink) and four-star cornerback Aidyn Wiggins (Duncan, SC/Byrnes) - highlight the future Tigers expected to attend.
Three other pledges are on the visitor’s list.
Offensive tackle Rance Brown (Brentwood, Tenn./Academy) will be at Auburn for the third weekend in a row. Defensive back Nasir Banks (Powder Springs, Ga./McEachern) returns from a week ago.
Junior defensive tackle Jamarcus Johnson (Lyons, Ga./Toombs County is one of the nation’s elite defensive tackle prospects and highlights he 2028 visitors list.
Three other priority offered defensive lineman include Cassell Cruickshank (Fayetteville, NC/EE Smith), Steven McClendon (Douglasville, Ga./Douglas County) and Ty’Jah Brown (Lake Cormorant, Miss.).
The Carolinas are ‘D-line Heaven’ and Cruickshank is the No. 1 four-star junior overall in North Carolina.
McClendon is one of the top blue-chip defensive ends in Georgia next cycle.
Brown is a Top 10 overall prospect in his class in Mississippi.
Another one of North Carolina’s best, four-star linebacker Skylar Alston (Raleigh, NC/Cardinal Gibbons), highlights the weekend’s visitors in his class and at his position.
In-state wise, the No. 1 tight end in 2028, Kaleb Ballard (Wetumpka, Ala.), will make the hour trek east to Auburn. It will be the second time in the last three weeks that Ballard is in town.
Three four-star cornerbacks of note that Auburn will welcome this weekend: Tyler Boyd (Carrollton, Ga.), Grayden Reid (Marion, Mass./Tabor Academy) and Zayden Williams (Oak Ridge, Tenn.).
Boyd told Auburnundercover last week in an on-site interview that Auburn is in his Top 3 along with Ohio State and Alabama amongst his 47 offers.
Williams is the No. 2 cornerback in the state of Tennessee next cycle and Reid is the top cornerback in Massachusetts.
