Week 4 is in the books, as Auburn capped off a three-game homestand with an SEC win over Vanderbilt.

Elsewhere, the remaining opponents on Auburn’s schedule had mixed outcomes. Some teams boosted their resumes with SEC wins, while others dropped highly-anticipated matchups.

Here’s how the rest of Auburn’s schedule fared in their games over the weekend.

Tennessee

Result: Tennessee lost 20-17 to Texas.

Tennessee came up short against the No. 1 team in the country, as its offense was kept relatively in check.

Faizon Brandon completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 151 yards and a touchdown, while the Volunteers totaled 70 yards rushing as a team. Tennessee’s other touchdown came in the form of a punt return that actually tied the game in the third quarter before Texas regained the lead on its next possession.
