Four days before Auburn faces Georgia, the Tigers lost one of their cornerback commits to the same rival.
Three-star cornerback Nash Johnson from Powder Springs, Ga., flipped his commitment to Georgia Tuesday.
“1000% recruitment shut down,” Johnson wrote in a social media post.
Johnson initally committed to Alabama, before backing off that pledge in April. The following month, Johnson took his official visit to Auburn and committed to the Tigers soon afterward.
He remained committed to the Tigers for the next four and a half months before the flip Tuesday morning.
Auburn’s lone cornerback commit in the 2027 class is now Aidyn Wiggins.
