AUC on Location: Can Auburn land the No. 1 recruit in Georgia?

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. — Auburn has some deep ties to the top junior in Georgia.

Five-star safety Casey Barner, ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the Peach State in the 2028 class, likes what he sees out of the Tigers.

“I love new staff,” Barner said. “Coach DVD (cornerbacks coach DeMarcus Van Dyke) and the whole new staff and the head coach (Alex Golesh). I love those guys. They know what they are doing. I feel like they are going to have a great season this year.
