It is time for the final month of the regular season as November has arrived and the final four games of the action are on deck to take place, with the first one being Saturday for the Auburn Tigers.
Things have not been all sunshines and rainbows for Alex Golesh’s squad as of late however, as the Tigers have suffered back-to-back losses by a combined 51 points, leaving them with a 4-4 overall record and a 2-4 look in the SEC.
Now up ahead is a game against the Arkansas Razorbacks, who are trying to rattle off another road win while also finding ways to get to a bowl game, sitting at just 3-5.
The Razorbacks are coming off of a brutal 34-10 loss at the hands of Missouri at home, but it is not definite that they will lose in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Arkansas has won the last two meetings on the Plains, with the last Auburn win having been in 2020.
After a tough month of November, Golesh is now looking to see his players respond appropriately, beginning this Saturday.
Ahead of the showdown between the Tigers and Razorbacks, here are some players to watch that could make a big difference in the game.

Arkansas Razorbacks
Chris Marshall (WR):
If there has been a favorite player to get the ball to for quarterback KJ Jackson, it has been Chris Marshall. The senior wide receiver that transferred from Boise State is by far the top wide receiver in Fayetteville in 2026, having 428 more receiving yards than anybody else on the team. Despite only having two touchdowns on the year though, he enters this game at a time when the Auburn defense has been very prone to giving up big chunk plays through the air, allowing opposing offenses to get down the field. Against LSU, it was Jackson Harris. Against Ole Miss, it was Caleb Cunningham. Look for Arkansas to utilize Marshall a lot on Saturday.
Quincy Rhodes Jr. (DL):
The Razorbacks defense currently has 59 pressures on the season. Of those 52% of them come from the power of Qunicy Rhodes Jr. Need us to say more when it comes to a Tigers offensive line that has given up the most sacks in the SEC? Three of Rhodes’ is 17 total tackles have been in the form of sacks, meaning there is a threat to get in the backfield and create a lot of havoc. The 6-foot-6 senior has size and strength to make things happen, and being that he has generated more than half of the pressure for this defense, it is expected that he will be a leader with a lot to offer.
Khmori House (DB):
Yet another young player in this league that has the potential to do some damage, Khmori House is a junior that can do it all, whether that be creating pressure or dropping back in coverage. With 46 total tackles and two sacks as a defensive back, it shows that House is effectively a Swiss army knife. On a team that is bound to try and create as much pressure as possible on Byrum Brown and this Auburn offense, it would not be shocking to see him coming on a blitz from the outside. House is destined to be a future star, as if he isn’t already.
Auburn Tigers
Christian Neptune (WR):
It is simple to say that Christian Neptune has not been a receiver to give the Tigers the most production on a weekly basis. However, he has made an impact in places as a sophomore, and having to fill in big for the absence of Jeremiah Koger against Ole Miss, Neptune had his best game of the season by far. With five receptions and 53 yards in that game, the sophomore can find space and cover some ground, but he has not been able to show that too much. Now, as the season enters the final four games, Neptune has slowly been proving why he has earned more time out wide. As depth truly begins to be tested, it is a wonder how much more of Neptune might be seen.
DeShawn Spencer (WR):
Do not be fooled, yes there are two wide receivers to watch in this game for Auburn. Why is DeShawn Spencer on here? He continues to make plays that place him as having maturation higher than what a true freshman normally provides. With four receptions for 62 yards in last week’s loss, Spencer is beginning to make more and more plays while also finding his true place in this offensive scheme. As a speed threat and someone who makes quick cuts, he is being utilized more creatively, which will come in handy against Arkansas.
Champ Anthony (S):
The performance from the Tigers secondary has not been one that has made headlines this season. At this point in the year with still a lot to play for, this Auburn team needs to continue to get more out of their leaders. This week, that could come from Champ Anthony. Last time Anthony played against the Razorbacks on the Plains, he delivered one of the loudest hits of the college football season, which was soon followed up by a season-ending injury a couple of plays later. Now nearing the end of his time with the program, Anthony is seeking out a breakout game. This game could be it, as it holds a lot of meaning. After an eight-tackle game last week, he could be due to make a mark once again on Saturday.
