Welcome to Auburn Undercover. These forums exist for Auburn fans to discuss Auburn athletics, recruiting, and other topics in a spirited but respectful environment. Healthy debate is encouraged. Personal attacks and disruptive behavior are not.
By participating on Auburn Undercover, you agree to follow these guidelines. Moderators reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules in the best interest of the community. Violations may result in edited or deleted posts, warnings, suspension, or permanent loss of posting privileges.
1. Respect Other Members
Debate ideas, not people.
Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or attempts to intimidate other members will not be tolerated. Disagree respectfully and avoid turning discussions into personal feuds.
2. No Hate Speech or Discriminatory Content
Posts containing racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, or other hateful or discriminatory content are prohibited.
3. Keep It Legal
Do not post anything that violates the law, including copyrighted material, defamatory statements, or confidential information that you do not have permission to share.
4. No Pornography or Graphic Content
Pornographic, sexually explicit, or excessively graphic material is prohibited.
5. No Spam or Advertising
Do not use Auburn Undercover to advertise businesses, products, services, fundraising efforts, or other websites without prior approval.
Repeated self-promotion, referral links, and spam are subject to removal.
6. Stay On Topic
Post threads in the appropriate forum and keep discussions reasonably related to the original topic.
Occasional drift is natural. Repeated thread hijacking or intentionally derailing discussions is not.
7. No Trolling
Posting solely to provoke reactions, inflame arguments, spread misinformation, or disrupt discussions is prohibited.
If your primary purpose is to create conflict rather than contribute to the conversation, moderators may take action.
8. Respect Players, Coaches and Recruits
Criticism of performance is part of sports.
Personal attacks, harassment, threats, or inappropriate comments directed toward players, coaches, recruits, their families, or other individuals are not acceptable.
Remember that many people associated with Auburn athletics read these forums.
9. Do Not Share Premium Content
Content created by Auburn Undercover is for subscribers.
Copying or reposting premium stories, insider information, premium podcasts, or subscriber-only content elsewhere without permission is prohibited.
Likewise, do not post copyrighted content from other subscription websites.
10. Recruiting Discussion
Recruiting is fluid.
Rumors are welcome when clearly identified as rumors, but intentionally posting false information or presenting speculation as fact may result in moderation.
Do not post private information about recruits or their families.
11. Politics and Religion
Political and religious discussions not permitted.
12. Profanity
Occasional mild profanity happens.
Excessive profanity, vulgarity, obscene language, or profanity directed at another member is not acceptable.
13. No Doxxing or Personal Information
Do not post another person's private information without permission.
This includes addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, workplace information, family information, or other identifying details.
14. Moderator Decisions
Moderators are here to keep the community productive, welcoming, and enjoyable.
If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact a moderator privately. Public arguments about moderation decisions, deleted posts, or disciplinary actions are generally not productive and may themselves be moderated.
15. We Reserve the Right
No set of rules can cover every situation.
Auburn Undercover reserves the right to edit, move, lock, or remove any post or thread and to suspend or terminate any account whose participation is determined to be harmful to the community, even if a specific rule is not listed above.
Our goal isn't to police every discussionit's to maintain the best Auburn community anywhere on the internet. Treat others with respect, use common sense, and enjoy the conversation.
